Volunteers are needed for:

• Shelter donation organization, site maintenance

• Shelter cleaning

• Grounds keeping & maintenance

• Assisting clients moving

• Child activities and care

• Fundraising & special events

Crisis Line Hotline Volunteer/Intern

Summary of Duties: To provide high quality and trauma informed call reception during VVIP non-business hours. Be a voice to assist someone in crisis. Be on call one week night a week and one weekend a month.

Scheduled hours: 4:30 pm until 8:00 am Monday-Thursday; 4:30 pm Friday until 8:00 am Monday, or Tuesday if Monday is a holiday. If a holiday, must be able to answer the phone all day and night. 

Internships

Interns will learn about advocacy work, non-profits, and community resources. Must be a team player willing to learn and help a small non-profit.
